Absolutely loved my dress! I felt so cute I literally frolicked. The material was thicker than I expected and was very comfortable all day at the Ren Fair. In case this helps anyone: 5’9”, 160lbs and bought the Large/Tall size.
The Belle Set is absolutely stunning, both pieces are gorgeously made! There are few loose threads here and there but, as a garment maker, I know those are natural when things are handmade, and the quality and finish of the dresses absolutely make up for it. The fit is beautiful, I’m on the larger end of the 3X and was a little worried I should have sized up, but both dresses fit beautifully and look so stunning. I bought this for a Belle cosplay which I’m thrilled with, and I’m excited to wear it for both the costume and a regular dress, I feel so wonderful in it!
Well, unfortunately all of my expectations and hopes have been crushed. After waiting much longer than the weeks said on here, I was met with disappointment. After getting over the fact that the dress was not at all the color that was advertised I tried to put it on. I was able to do so after a bit of a struggle as I am top heavy. The material in the chest area is see-through in the middle, which I didn't know from looking at the photos. The material was very thin and began to tear after I took it off, the chemise was also slightly itchy. The dress unfortunately felt cheaply made. I wanted so badly to love this dress as so many LARP content creators I know support this shop. For the high price I paid I had high expectations and I am so sad that those expectations were not met at all. For anyone who is top heavy and/or has thick thighs and waists, I highly suggest buying a size bigger or else you will struggle to put it on. In the end I am heartbroken at how instead of feeling joy and excitement, I'm left with disappointment and sadness. Apologies for dark lighting.

I was hoping you wear this as a alternative wedding dress, but I would have to change a few things. Here are some things you may want to know: 1. The middle panel of the overdress is VERY thin (pics included). I could read the tag through it. It is like this on both front and back. 2. There is a zipper on the side which is not a separating zipper. This means that you have to pull the top over your chest and shoulders to get it on/off and that might be difficult (especially if you have limited mobility and/or are struggling to get it over the chemise as well. I was afraid I was going to rip it and had a moment of panic trying to get it off by myself. 3. It has pockets! Which is cool. 4. The hemline is higher on the sides and longer in the front and back. I thought this was the case, but it was a little unclear from the photos. It does not fully cover the chemise at the bottom. Ultimately, I'm returning the set, but I did want to give a review to help others decide.
